As the holiday season arrives the sale of Roku’s newly launched products and updated devices boost up their sales. The company has expanded its media player line-up for the U.S and abroad with the enhanced versions of both its entry-level and high-end players, the Roku Express and Roku Ultra respectively. Yet another version of Roku Express has been launched exclusively for Walmart and a streaming stick to be sold at Best Buy.
An improved OS 9.2 version has been updated in the Hardware of Roku that is specifically designed for more improved searches and discoveries. Apart from that, Roku Zones are made for curated search results. As for the hardware part, the Roku Express which is 10% smaller than its former version could now be used by USB ports of TVs in order to reduce clutter.
Though the sale results aren’t out yet, despite some exclusive planning, Roku is continuing its work with retail partners. Moreover, as the selling prices are decided for all the newly launched and enhanced devices of Roku with a premium standard compatible with the latest versions will expand their business hugely in the technology platform.
Other than that, all the enhanced features will have the latest curation of searches, compatible audio jacks, tv controllers, voice remotes, and more. Moreover, though the prices are less compared to usual, yet nothing has been revealed by them regarding this. All these are not just hardware-based, but operating systems are upgraded with the launch of 9.2 version.
Roku Express, Roku Premiere, and Roku Streaming Stick+ are expected to be available not only in the US but in other places such as Canada, UK, Latin America as well.
